  • Google’s reveal of Gemini, an Multimodal AI model built to bridge the gap between the search giant and Open AI’s GPT made a stellar impression

  • However, this did not last long as AI engineers, enthusiasts were able to see through the faults.

  • While a google’s representative says that the demo video of Gemini features real prompts and the outputs from gemini, the editing leaves out a few details from it.

  • This led to the quick realisation that Gemini’s capabilities were less revolutionary than how they initially appeared.

  • In addition to this,Gemini Ultra the largest of the three models in the Gemini Family claims to beat GPT-4 in a variety of benchmarks for which google is taking flack as it has used different methodologies for measuring its performance.

  • One such method is a way a user prompts the AI model can also influence its performance.
